Résonance

Resonance is a synesthetic experience for the ‘Orchestre de Paris’.

It is a visual exploration of music, through the stories behind each composition.

The goal was to promote the beauty of each piece of music the Orchestra plays, and bring it as a friendly and playful way to people that are not usually drawn to Classical music… But not only.

In order to communicate on the fact that the Orchestra moved to another Music Hall, we started a contest in which you win a free ticket to their show by creating you own ticket, at the end of each experience.

By participating, you enter a lotery, and if you win your ticket will be Your poster created during the exploration. Obviously, the two shows you can win a ticket for are the music pieces you played with on the website.

The experiment goes along with an interactive screen displayed in the new building « Philharmonie de Paris » that opened earlier this year. The ultimate goal was to create a scene where people could play the song embodying a "Chef d’Orchestre » in front of the orchestra.

Role : I was in charge of Concept, strategy, and Art Direction.
I also produced the 3D screens, 3D elements, and Music track modifications. (each shape appearance and variations respond to a midi track info).


I am glad I could work on this awesome project with my mate Panagiotis Thomoglou, the most talented and passionate Developper, with Camille Chalvin,  the most exquisite and dedicated producer who I worked a lot with on the strategy concept, Rodney Paul, a very talented Art Director that designed the second track, Tania Koller for her great knowledge of modern art that participated in the conception phase, and the rest of the amazing team at Soleil Noir Studio.

Casse Tête Chinois

Casse-tête Chinois (Chinese Puzzle) is the 3rd film of Cedric Klapisch's Trilogy of l'Auberge Espagnole. To launch the movie, we created an experience website that lets you re-write the story of the main caracter, Xavier, dive into his memories and the previous films.

In a second part, Xavier tels you your own story based on your Facebook informations, and Cedric Klapisch the Director of the film decides if your life could make a good caracter in his next film.

Every Year Soleil Noir sends its good wishes to clients and the rest of the entire Internet. For 2014 we created this piece : Happy new year!

Nissan Stage Juk3d

Nissan Stage Juk3d is a new way to discover a car.

Thanks to Flash 11 new 3D abilities, and a partnership with Adobe, we where able to think a new kind of digital module to present the car to the users, and to let them play with it.

They could turn around it, change its color, open the doors, change the wheels, and even get inside of it!

Once you had built the car of your dreams, you could take it out for a ride in the city at nigth (virtually I mean). The interface then changed into a car game,  you had to race the juke and catch the power balls to enlighten the nigth.

And The Bit Goes On

AndTheBitGoesOn is a creative festival launched in 2012 that brings together music and motion design. In 24 hours time, you have to choose one of the selected tracks and create graphics to fit on it.

The music my team and I selected was a Hip-Hop song by Art District, with a sample from one of the most famous songs from the Big Band era : "Sing sing sing". This gave me the idea to call a friend that happenned to know how to dance Hip-Hop and Tap-Dance.

The result is a battle between two musical genre, embodied by my friend Peeps.

I shot everything on location during the festival, with a Canon 5D mark II.

Juke - Light up the night Experience

I have worked tightly with other creative teams at TBWA to bring out the big idea for the new Nissan Juke Prelaunch and Launch phases.


For the digital Launch phase consisted in an immersive website with facebook connect informations. Juke, along with the names of your friends, enlightens the night. Follow Juke throughout the city and watch it energise its surrondings.

The 'Snow' range is a whitening cream created by Dior.

Dior needed a website to present their new cream.

Concept and transitions are based on transparency and light refraction.

Les nouvelles Halles de Paris - B2B iPad App

Unibail is a french real estates firm, they bought and renovated the old 'Halles de Paris'. Les halles is in the center of Paris, and a strategic location for big brands to be at.

In order to show their furture prospects the shops and spots available, Unibail needed an iPad app they could use to show the brands the new project that is being built at the moment.

Soleil Noir 2013 Wishes

Every year, Soleil Noir sends its wishes to clients and friends. In 2013 we had the opportunty to shoot with a high speed camera that captures 1500 frames per second. So as the agency was 13 years old, we shot a 13 yo boy having fun.
